RESEARCH & ENVIRONMENT

A word from our CSR manager
We have created ongoing projects in production, manufacturing and packaging in order to become a sustainable company.
Therefore we started to change our own habits in our own offices in 2010 to become a more sustainable working environment and to also become CO2 neutral as a company.

From this endeavour our Scandinavian campaign "I LOVE SAVING PLANTS" took form. It is a rainforest replanting project that will shed some light on the importance of maintaining our planet's biodiversity and ecosystem.

Today everyone at New Nordic continuously tries to change and work towards a more environment friendly day-to-day business.

Your safety - Our priority
HACCP* is a systematic preventive approach to food safety and pharmaceutical safety that addresses physical, chemical and biological hazards as a means of prevention rather than finished product inspection. HACCP is used in the food industry to identify potential food safety hazards, so that key actions, known as Critical Control Points (CCPs) can be taken to reduce or eliminate the risk of the hazards being realized. In every New Nordic Office we are following the HACCP routine.

At New Nordic, we are proud to support organizations like Climeworks that strive to reverse the effects of climate change by reversing CO2 emissions into the air. Many companies and people rely on organizations such as these to better the future of the environment. With Climeworks' subscription model business, we are able to not only move toward cleaner air, but also inspire others to take action towards a CO2 neutral environment.

When it comes to fish, New Nordic uses certified sustainable seafood from projects like Friend of the Sea, namely in our EQUAZEN® product. Friend of the Sea promotes and certifies both wild and farmed seafood from sustainable fisheries.
